Sheffield City Council stay under no overall control after the local elections.

There are reports that counting was delayed overnight after a man allegedly threatened staff at a polling station in Fulwood.

The Green Party made a seat gain over Labour, with them taking Hillsborough and Gleadless Valley.

In Barnsley, Labour remain in control of the council - that's despite losing 3 seats, with Lib Dems gaining 2.

There was a turn out of 25.88% in the town and 53.5% of votes were postal votes.

Meanwhile, we're set to find out who South Yorkshire's next Mayor will be this afternoon.

Barnsley Central MP Dan Jarvis is standing down after four years in the position.
