Work to start building the £70 million distribution centre is due to start next year, as the company presses ahead with a major expansion across the country.
The firm has lodged a planning application to build the warehouse at the iPort logistics park on the fringes of the town.
It's part of the company's plans to take a greater share of the UK grocery market over the next three years by investing £1.5 billion into new warehouses and stores.
