An investigation is underway after a fatal collision on the A57 Snake Pass.

Police were called yesterday (11/8/24) at 1.10pm after an accident happened involving 2 motorbikes.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene.

A statement from Derbyshire Police said:

"Officers investigating a fatal collision on the A57 Snake Pass are appealing for dashcam footage.

"The collision occurred on the stretch through Holden Clough at around 1.10pm on Sunday 11 August and involved two red Ducati motorbikes.

"Both riders, a man in his 50s and a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Their families are aware and our thoughts are with them.

"We are keen to speak to anyone with dashcam footage of the collision, or footage showing the riders in the moments leading up to the collision."
