Hundreds of people gathered in Sheffield's Richmond Park this evening, in tribute to Kelly Brewster –who lost her life in the Manchester bomb attack.

The 32-year-old from Sheffield has been called a hero, after she died shielding her niece from the explosion.

People from across South Yorkshire joined Kelly’s friends and family in holding a minute’s silence.

A song by her favourite band One Direction was also played.

Earlier this week, Sheffield Councillor Jack Scott told Hallam how Kelly and her family are well known in Arbourthorne for all their work in the community – and her death has come as a huge shock.

Flowers have also been laid in Sheffield’s Peace Gardens in memory of Kelly and the other 21 victims who lost their lives in Monday’s attack – including a large bouquet from boxer Kell Brook.
