Government delays plans for Great British Railways HQ
Doncaster had been one of the six finalists in the running
Plans for the Great British Railways have been postponed.
Doncaster was one of six areas' shortlisted in the running to be its headquarters.
It's claimed that bringing the HQ to Doncaster would significantly bolster the local economy and create around 1,840 new jobs.
However, the Transport Secretary Anne Marie Trevelyan has announced the Government has put back the Bill containing the plans.
