We’re on the hunt with NHS Blood and Transplant to find as many real life superheroes as we can across South Yorkshire. We want people to be ready for action when people need their help the most. Did you know that in just 1 hour of your time you can save the lives of three people! There’s only really one question... why not?

#WhyNot?=========
We understand there’s tonnes of reasons why people haven’t donated before so we’ve put together the top reasons below and answered those concerns.
I can never find a suitable time to do it.
Appointments are available throughout the day, evenings and weekends, You can find the best time for you on blood.co.uk and book an appointment right now.
I’m really scared of needles!
We cant overcome your fear but most people say it just feels like a little pin prick and that the whole process is painless. You'll be giving blood for between just 8-10 minutes.
I’ve got tattoos so I can’t do it
If you had your most recent tattoo over 4 months ago then you are able to donate!
I don’t know where to do it
You can find your nearest donor centre by clicking here. There are loads across South Yorkshire and they are usually just around the corner. You can even download the blood.co.uk mobile app and find your nearest centre in just one tap!
