Former Sheffield ICU nurse breaks world record at London Marathon

A former ICU nurse from Sheffield has broken a World Record for being the fastest Pint of Beer!
Joan Pons Laplana started running to help with PTSD after working through the Covid-19 pandemic in Sheffield.
It helped him so much he entered the London Marathon with a big aim, to break a world record for being the worlds fastest pint, which he managed to do!
Joan decided to dress up as a pint after a chat with his running friends in the pub.
Joan said:
"I've done it! It's official, I am the fastest pint in the world! It was the happiest day of my life...but never again!"
