Fixtures released for our Football League sides

Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield Utd and Doncaster now know where their 2016/17 campaign will take them.

The new fixtures for the 2016/17 Football League season have been annouced.

Newly promoted Barnsley face a trip to Ipswich on the opening day of the Championship season.

Sheffield Wednesday welcome relegated Aston Villa to Hillsborough, while Rotherham United take on Wolves.

The full opening weekend fixtures for the Championship are as follows:
