Fire Investigation After Rotherham Plant Blaze
2000-tonnes of plastic involved in fire near Magna
The cause of a huge fire in Rotherham’s being investigated today. It broke out at the former Sterecycle premises in the town and needed six fire engines to bring it under control. As the blaze involved around 2000-tonnes of burning plastic giving off fumes nearby residents were warned to keep doors and windows closed and neighbouring Magna was forced to cancel a Christmas party event last night.
