Exclusive: the Sheffield postcodes with the highest gun and knife crime
Crime figures from the last decade reveal which areas have seen the biggest rise
Exclusive figures we’ve obtained from South Yorkshire Police reveal the areas of Sheffield that have seen the biggest increases in knife crime over the last 10 years.
Just under three quarters of areas in the city saw knife crime rise or remain constant.
The area outside of the town centre with the highest number of knife crimes last year was Darnall, whilst in 2007 it was Broomhall.
Overall the figures show knife crime has almost doubled since 2012.
