EXCLUSIVE: Dad of missing South Yorkshire boy admits 'time isn't making things better'
Doncaster teenager Andrew Gosden disappeared in London back in 2007
A South Yorkshire man - whose son went missing 16 years ago - admits he can 'barely get out of bed in a morning' - thinking about what may've happened to him.
In a radio exclusive - we've been speaking to Kevin Gosden from Doncaster - on the week which marks his son's 30th birthday.
Teenager Andrew Gosden went missing back in 2007 at the age of 14.
He disappeared after catching a train to London from Doncaster - & was last spotted on CCTV at Kings Cross station on the day he went missing.
Now - almost 17 years since Andrew went missing - his dad Kevin says the uncertainty around his disappearance hasn't got any easier to handle:
"It doesn't matter how many days, weeks, months or years go by - it just doesn't get any easier.
"Not knowing if he's made it to the age of 30 is so hard.
"We don't have the answers we need.
"On Andrew's birthday on Monday, we lit some candles as a sign of hope that he may be alive and well somewhere.
"Then we had pizza for our dinner, because it reminds all the family of him, as he really loved pizza.
"It actually just gets tougher as time goes on. We haven't given up hope yet, but it's getting more difficult for sure.
"It makes you live on your nerves constantly.
"The amount of anxiety and depression that this situation has brought for all our family has been incredibly tough."
In December of 2021, two men were arrested in connection to Andrew's disappearance, although both have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
