Motorcyclist dies in three vehicle crash in Doncaster

Police have launched an appeal for information after a fatal crash in Doncaster in which a motorcyclist was killed.

Officers were called at 11:33am on Saturday (April 12) to Edlington Lane in Edlington, after a collision involving the bike, a Toyota Yaris and a Ford Focus.

A man in his 50s, who was riding the motorbike, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family is now being supported by specialist officers.

Anyone who saw what happened, of who captured dashcam footage in the area at the time, is being urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
