Doncaster man charged after pensioner suffers serious injuries during assault

The 47 year old is due in court again next month

A Doncaster man has been charged with assaulted after a pensioner was seriously injured earlier this month.

It comes after an elderly man was attacked on September 19.

Liam Stapleton, 47, of no fixed address, is charged with Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent.

He appeared before Sheffield Magistrates' Court yesterday (September 22) and has been remanded into custody ahead of another hearing on October 20.
