Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery in the Hatfield area of Doncaster yesterday morning
At around 5am, two men entered a property, close to the Hatfield Chase pub off the A18 Doncaster Road, Hatfield.
They are reported to have had stockings over their heads and threatened the occupants, a man and a woman, with a number of weapons including what is believed to be a handgun.
The man suffered a facial injury and the couple have been left incredibly shaken by the incident.
The two suspects fled the property with a quantity of jewellery including a Breitling watch.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who might have seen suspicious activity or a vehicle being driven at speed in the Dunscroft and Hatfield areas of Doncaster this morning.
