Bus driver seriously ill after suffering 'medical episode' behind the wheel in Doncaster

A Doncaster bus driver is in a life threatening condition in hospital after suffering a medical episode behind the wheel early this morning.
Police were called to Trafford Way at around 4:20am to reports a bus had veered onto the wrong side of the road and hit railings.
The road has been closed between the between St George's roundabout and Cleveland Street roundabout.
The 61 year old driver was taken to hospital, where he remains.
There were no passengers aboard the bus at the time, with the double decker being the only vehicle involved in the incident.
Witnesses are being urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
