Police hunt dog owners after woman bitten in Sheffield

Police have launched an appeal to find two dog owners, after a woman was bitten in Sheffield earlier this year.

The victim was walking along Owler Lane at 5:27pm on January 24, when two men with a dog walked past her in the opposite direction.

Their dog, described as white and possibly a Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Bullmastif type, then bit her on the hand.

The men are described as white, around 5ft 5ins, aged between 20-30, speaking with British accents.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
