The daughter of one of the South Yorkshire men, missing after the collapse at Didcot power station, says she won't stop until her dad's brought home.

57 year old Ken Cresswell's still unaccounted for along with 61 year old John Shaw; both are from Rotherham.

The collapse happened over two weeks ago at the site down in Oxfordshire.

On Sunday their families are going down to stage a peaceful protest calling for the search for them to be sped up.

They'll be joined by relatives of a third demolition worker from Wales, Chris Huxtable, who's also missing.

Ken's youngest daughter, Sadie, has told Hallam FM she has no doubt he's safe and well and that she will be reunited with him.

She's said she's chosen to speak to us to give her dad a voice from the wreckage:

"Until somebody tells us otherwise he's alive and well and he is coming home to his wife, his daughters, his grand-daughters. He's coming home and he's going to be alive.

"These hard-working men have been left. We just want to get the word out that they are important men. They're important to their families.

  • *

"They're not just demolition men from up north. They're our dads. We love him. He's the most important man in our lives and we want him home."

A coach-load of people will be setting off at 9am down to Oxford with banners and ribbons showing their support for the three men.

They want as many people as possible to join them.

A fundraising page has also been set up to help with the campaign.

Emergency crews have previously said it could take months to find them so a petition's been started pushing for more to be done to recover them quicker.
