Police in Doncaster are appealing for information after a cyclist was hit by a car and seriously injured.

The 69 year old was cycling along Sheffield Road towards Conisbrough at around 4 o'clock on the 21st of January when he was knocked off his bike - suffering a broken leg.

Officers found a wing mirror at the scene and think the vehicle involved was a black Seat.

They're asking anyone who saw it happen or has any information about a black Seat needing a new wing mirror to get in touch.

They think collision would have also likely left the vehicle with damage to its passenger side.
