Grieving South Yorkshire family 'desperate' to get their son's body back to the UK
38-year-old Craig Bott - from Rotherham - was killed in a car crash out in Australia earlier this month
The mum of a South Yorkshire man - who was killed in a car accident in Australia earlier this month - says 'time has stood still' since the tragedy.
Craig Bott's family - who're originally from Rotherham - are now fundraising to try & afford the fees to fly his body back to the UK - so they can have his funeral locally.
We've been speaking to the 38-year-old's mum - Julia Oliver - at her home in Doncaster:
"You go to bed one night and you've got twin boys, knowing that your son - who's abroad - is due back soon from Australia.
"The next morning, the police come and tell you that you don't have two boys anymore; you've just got one son left.
"I can't even describe how it feels.
"We just can't believe how charitable people have been with our fundraising efforts to try and get Craig's body back to the UK.
"We're really surprised at all the donations we've had.
"We'd have struggled to get the strength to do these people donating, so we're tremendously grateful for every penny so far and always will be."
So far, over £11,000 has been raised to get Craig's body back to the UK.
It's thought it'll cost between £15,000-£20,000 overall though.
Craig's stepdad Chris Oliver says it's not been an easy couple of weeks:
"The uncertainty and the time waiting to hear things is an absolute nightmare.
"There's very little really in the way of support for people who are going through the repatriation process.
"You're given a phone number basically from that knock on the door from the police, and you're more or less left to do it all yourself.
"The time difference between Australia and the UK makes things incredibly hard."
