Man arrested after cigarettes stolen during Co-op burglary in Rossington

The 37 year old was also arrested on suspicion of drugs offences

A man has been arrested after reports of a burglary at a Co-op store in Rossington.

It happened at 3:55am last Saturday (October 12), with a large quantity of cigarettes stolen during the break in at the Gattison Lane store.

A 37-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and production of a Class B drug.

He has been released under investigation.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
