It's business as usual today at Chesterfield Royal Hospital despite a lightning strike last night.

Bosses at the site say things are now operating normally, despite several hours of disruption on Sunday (26th May) due to the stormy weather.

We're assured that nobody was hurt and no patients put at risk during the outage.

Patients and visitors should attend hospital as normal is the advice today.
