Chemical "Incident" In Rotherham

The emergency services have been called to an industrial estate and premises were evacuated after a suspected chemical incident.

Crews were sent to offices at Brookfield's Park on the Manvers Industrial Estate, Rotherham, at around 7.50pm last night after they received reports of people suffering from nausea and eye irritation.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said:

"The building has been evacuated and fire officers are now inside monitoring the air quality to ascertain a cause.

"We are working with our partners in the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, who are checking people over at the scene.

"Currently nobody has been taken to hospital.''
