Ex Sheffield United striker Evans - wearing a black suit, white shirt and navy tie - only spoke briefly to confirm his identity before entering his plea.
The 27-year-old was represented by Kieran Vaughan QC and junior counsel David Emanuel.
John Philpotts QC, who represented the prosecution in the case, appeared via video link from Mold Crown Court.
Evans' trial will take place on the 4th October.
