Charity golf day raises £2k for local children's charity

Held at Tapton Park Golf Club in Chesterfield, the event was blessed with glorious sunny weather, where the players enjoyed tea, coffee and bacon butties.

The teams were in with the chance of winning a £23,000 caravan, courtesy of Yorkshire Caravans****** on the third hole, providing they scored a hole in one!

Teams from across the region entered to play on the day also taking part in a raffle, putting competition and longest drive which helped raise a whopping £2,000.

The charity golf day was one of a number of activities held by Yorkshire Caravans to help celebrate the local company's 90 year anniversary.
