Blaze at disused Barnsley nightclub 'under control'
A large fire at disused nightclub in Barnsley has closed off roads in the town centre this morning.
South Yorkshire Fire Service were called to the old Chicago Rock club at around 5.20am.
Wellington Street was closed in both directions between Foundry Street and West Way.
The fire service says nobody was inside the building and there are no injuries.
The building had been due to reopen as a restaurant in a few weeks' time.
