The family of a 91 year old woman who died in hospital, after being found seriously injured in Kiveton Park, have been paying tribute as an investigation continues.
Elizabeth 'Betty' Clark passed away last Wednesday (November 11) after being found seriously injured at a home on Peveril Close on September 11.
Her family is being supported by specialist officers.
South Yorkshire Police's Major Crime Unit is now investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
Senior investigating officer, Detective Inspector Adam Watkinson, adds:
"I would like to thank Betty's family for their support in our investigation so far and our thoughts remain with them during this time. I would also to thank those who have already come forward with information.
"We are still investigating the circumstances which led to Betty's death, and are particularly interested to hear from anyone who may have seen something that didn't look right on Wednesday 10 or Thursday 11 September around the Kiveton Park area."
