Appeal after fatal crash in Doncaster

A 33-year-old man died after a collision on the A614 at Lindholme

Police have appealed for witnesses and video footage following a fatal collision in Doncaster.

It happened at around 7.40pm on 14 January on the A614 at Lindholme.

South Yorkshire Police said it believed an orange Mini Cooper was travelling in the direction towards Hatfield Woodhouse, when it collided with a grey Volkswagen Golf.

The driver of the Mini, a 33-year-old man was seriously injured and taken to hospital. He later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Volkswagen, a woman in her 20s and a child passenger, suffered injuries and were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has footage or information to assist the investigation.
