South Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after a man sustained life-threatening injuries in Doncaster.

At 4:50pm on Thursday (January 18th), officers from the force were called to the Adwick area of the city following reports of a collision in the area.

When responders arrived on the junction of Beech Road and Skellow Road, they found two motorbikes had collided with a car.

Police discerned the car to be a silver Vauxhall Corsa, with the two motorbikes refusing to stop as the vehicle turned the corner, causing the incident.

First responders gave immediate treatment to a man in his 20s, and was eventually rushed to hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police are now appealing to anyone with any potential information or sightings of the incident to get in touch as soon as possible.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to any potential witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have any dashcam footage of the incident so that it can help police with their enquiries.

Anyone who may have any potentially relevant information is being urged to contact South Yorkshire Police quoting incident reference number 586 from January 18th.
