600 roads set to be improved in Rotherham in the next three years
Its part of a multi-million pound plan
Almost 600 roads are set to be improved in Rotherham over the next three years.
The council have said it marks a significant investment in the area which will also see potholes repaired.
Councillor Dominic Beck, cabinet member for transport and environment said the plan marked a ‘significant investment’.
“The council has made a sizable significant and ambitious investment in improving the safety and the condition of our roads all across Rotherham.
"We continue to deliver on that over the forthcoming years" said Beck.
The improvements to the roads are part of a ‘£24 million to 2024’ roads programme, with just under 600 roads across the borough have been earmarked for improvements.
