Four men have been jailed after police shut down a 'notorious' Sheffield drug line.

The group, Jordan Corrigan, David Bean, Peter Talbot and Thomas Myers, were involved in the running of the JD drug line, which was involved in the supply of Class A drugs in the city.

Talbot and Myers were arrested in April 2024, when police stopped a car and witness Myers swallowing suspected Class A drugs.

They discovered two phones which were used to arrange deliveries for the JD line.

Corrigan was arrested near to his home, with a raid later leading to the arrest of David Bean and the seizure of around ÂŁ35,000 worth of crack cocaine.

Detective Sergeant Victoria Kenny, of South Yorkshire Police said:

"The dedication to removing illegal drugs off the streets of South Yorkshire has been shown in the case, which has resulted in four criminals being locked up for a total of nearly 30 years, following an intensive policing operation.

"Drugs and organised criminality bring devastation to our local communities, with many of our residents left to deal with the damage they have caused. This is not acceptable."
