19 year old dies in Sheffield motorbike crash

A 19 year old man has died after a motorbike crash in Sheffield earlier today.
Emergency services were called to Ecclesall Road at 1am this morning (22 June) to reports of a collision.
The rider of the bike, a 19-year-old man from Sheffield was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
His family have been informed and are now being supported by specialist officers.
An investigation into the circumstances around the crash continues.
South Yorkshire Police are urging any witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage taken in the area at the time to get in touch.
