A 16 year old boy is being questioned on suspicion of murder after a man was seriously injured in Killamarsh and later died.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance at a house on Westthorpe Road at around 10pm on Monday.

They found 31 year old Ricky Collins nearby with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he passed away.

Two people from the Sheffield area have now been arrested in connection with the death.

A 16-year-old boy is being questioned on suspicion of murder, and a 43-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Detective Inspector Chris Marriott, of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said: “We have arrested two people, and believe it to be an isolated incident"

He added: "He are continuing to investigate a number of lines of inquiry and continue to appeal for any witnesses or anyone who has information about what happened to contact us.”
