Teenager killed in crash at 3pm on Friday
A 14 year old girl's died after a collision involving an HGV at Barnsley.
Police were called to Doncaster Road around 3pm on Friday (27th April) after a crash between a pedestrian and a lorry near to the junction of Heathfield and Vaal Street.
Barnsley District Commander Chief Superintendent Scott Green said, "Our investigators are working to establish the full circumstances of this very sad incident and our thoughts are with the girl’s family."
