Police are have launched a fresh appeal to find a teenager from Doncaster who went missing ten years ago today.

14-year-old Andrew Gosden left his home on 14th September 2007, got on a train to London, and disappeared.

He took £200 out of his bank account and boarded a GNER train at Doncaster train station, bound for London Kings cross.

Despite a big search from police, he's never been found.

Andrews’s dad, Kevin says that the family have been in limbo for the past ten years:

“It’s just day in day out, we're always thinking about Andrew, the whole family are.

"We’ve done absolutely everything that we can think of and much of it twice to try and find out what happened to Andrew when he disappeared, to be quite honest we question ourselves on a day to day basis as to whether we think he’s alive or whether he’s dead.

“There’s always the possibility that finally, after all this time, somebody might know something and come forward but I have to say that that possibility feels to us like a longer shot now than winning the lottery.”

Andrew, who'll now be now 24, was 14-years-old when he left his home in Balby - he was seen heading down Littlemoor Lane towards Westfield Park, at around 8:30am on that day.

At around 11:20am, CCTV shows him at Kings Cross Station - where he was last seen.

Police want anyone with information to come forward - and to call 101 quoting incident number 161 of 13 September 2017.

Today Kevin's holding a sponsored silence to mark the occasion. It will last for ten hours - an hour to represent each year that his son has been missing.

He's raising money for the charity Missing People who support families of people who have gone missing.

You can donate to the cause on Kevin's Just Giving page here.
