Sony Pictures has just dropped the brand new trailer for the forthcoming film of Peter Rabbit and we get a bit more of an insight into what awaits us early next year.

Peter Rabbit is based on the iconic books written by Beatrix Potter in a brand-new, modern adventure, and will feature a number of celebrity names as voices of the rabbits, along with Rose Byrne in the female lead role of Bea and Domhnall Gleeson as Mr McGregor.

Joining James Corden, who lends his voice to Peter Rabbit, will be Neighbours actress Margot Robbie, The Great Gatsby's Elizabeth Debicki, and Star Wars' Daisy Ridley, who will voice the roles of Peter’s sisters Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail.

This new trailer shows how Peter’s feud with Mr McGregor escalates as he fights to gain control of McGregor’s coveted vegetable garden. Peter and his friends travel from the Lake District to London where they even find themselves outside Buckingham Palace.

Speaking about his role James Corden said, "Every British child falls in love with Peter Rabbit sooner or later. I hope that a new generation will see this film and rediscover the incredible books and storytelling of Beatrix Potter and fall in love with the character as I did. That’s why I wanted to be part of this film."

Peter Rabbit is due to arrive in cinemas in March 2018.
