Andrew Garfield really wants to make you cry

He's starring in the emotional film Breathe

You are definitely going to cry in Andrew Garfield's latest film Breathe - and he is totally ok with that!

The film, which directed by Andy Serkis, tells the true story of Robin Cavendish, who became a disability rights activist after contracting polio. It also stars Claire Foy, who's not making much of a departure from her role in The Queen, and Tom Hollander.

As you can probably guess from the description, it's a bit of a weepy. In fact, Andrew himself admitted that he's had a bit of a sniffle watching the film back.

'I remembered that I was watching someone's life play out', he said of watching the movie with the people it was based on.

Not content with just his own tears though, Andrew admits he's on a bit of a mission to make us all cry with his brutal dramatic roles.

'I don't think we cry enough. I think more men need to cry more often'

As well as Breathe, Andrew has also broken our hearts in films like Never Let Me Go, Silence and Hacksaw Ridge. Chatting to our Entertainment Hub, he said it's probably time he got a goofy comedy under his belt.

He even revealed the comedy he wished he'd got the chance to star in - Anchorman!

'Anchorman was just so...how did they do it? Blissful!'

'I remember watching it thinking it was going to change how people think. I thought it was like revolutionary!', he added.
