TV talent show The X Factor has been accused of faking audition footage after eagle-eyed viewers noticed one of Nicole Scherzinger's unique reactions was used for different auditions.
On last night’s episode, it was noticed by some that former Pussycat Doll Nicole reacted in exactly the same way to Jack Remington and Joel Fisher’s audition as she did to Alisah Bonaobra’s earlier in the series.
The US star attempted to show her delight by leaning back in her chair and touching her chest as she wore a red dress on last night's show. As she wore exactly the same outfit, many viewers think they may not be seeing the genuine reaction of the judges to the performances.
Despite eagle-eyed fans spotting the scene, an insider told a national newspaper, “It looks like this was an error in the editing of the show. It doesn’t change the context at all but they’ll be looking into ways to make sure this doesn’t happen again."
Viewers also cried foul play this weekend when hopeful Alisah Bonaobra failed to impress the judges during a group performance of Mariah Carey song 'We Belong Together' during the bootcamp stage. Despite her poor performance, Alisah but was still put through to the Six Chair Challenge much to the disappointment of viewers.
The ITV talent show has been embroiled in a number of fix scandals over the years, including last year when host Demot O’Leary appeared to give away the results of the public vote a massive 60 minutes before phone lines were scheduled to close.
One hopeful that did impress judges was 17-year-old student Benji Matthews who performed an original song inspired by Mick and Linda Carter from EastEnders.
Benji received heaps of praise from all four judges for his catchy song and amazing vocals and made it through to next week's Six Chair Challenge.

Throughout the noughties Christina had some massive hits such as 'Dirrty', 'Beautiful' and 'Hurt' and later went on to star in a number of movies such as Burlesque.
The singer now has five Grammy Awards, has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and appears on The Voice as a mentor.
