Tensions rise in the I'm A Celeb camp with the arrival of Noel Edmonds as Emperor
His arrival didn't go down well in the camp

Last night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! (22nd Nov) saw tensions in the camp for the very first time since it started last Sunday (18th Nov). The original 10 celebs have been getting on famously, and have even been taking care of each other and being super kind - Nick Knowles giving Anne Hegerty his pillow will go down in I'm A Celebrity history.
But Deal Or No Deal's Noel Edmonds FINALLY entered the camp after weeks of speculation last night - leading to some hilarious reactions from the campmates, who had no clue that he was coming.
However, although they initially seemed excited about his arrival, that quickly soured as show bosses had crowned him Emperor of the camp - a role he clearly relished.
This meant that he had complete control over what the campmates did and was completely exempt from doing any tasks or Bushtucker trials. He selected Harry Redknapp as his adviser, meaning that he too was ruled out of any tasks or trials.
Of course, after four days in the camp, the campmates had already worked out a natural rhythm to what they were doing - so having someone completely mix up their responsibilities and laud it over them did NOT go down very well.

Noel's behaviour particularly ruffled the feathers of John Barrowman and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who muttered to Nick Knowles that he did not like taking orders from people in authority.
At one point, John stood up to ask Emperor Noel a question, readjusting his waistband as he stood. But Noel misunderstood, and incredulously asked John to refrain from 'scratching his groin' when talking to him.
John was immediately furious by the accusation, and told the Bush Telegraph, "I know he was trying to make a joke and be funny but it didn't land well with me and for that moment I'm probably being overly sensitive and it's at this exact time that my husband would say I need a sandwich."
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
