Harry's letter from Sandra was particularly heart-rending

Last night's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! (4th Dec) was one of the most emotional ones yet. I'm A Celeb's Harry Redknapp and Nick Knowles took on The Chicken Coup for the remaining eight celebrities, following the exit of Coronation Street Sair Khan early on in the show, in the hope that they would win their letters from home.
Unfortunately, they were unable to win The Chase's Anne Hegerty and singer Fleur East's, but the other six celebrities were comforted by letters from their loved ones - and there was not a dry eye in the house.

The Vamps' James McVey's letter was written by his girlfriend Kirstie, who has flown over to Australia to meet him once he gets out of the jungle. Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack read it out to the group, choking up as she did so.
It read, 'My gorgeous pup, you are so beautifully sensitive and kind. The way you’ve carried yourself in the camp is an absolute testimony to that and I want you to be as proud of yourself as I am of you, because I know how nervous you were going into this,' adding that she was struggling with the lack of contact, and wishing him a happy four-year anniversary.
Emily's letter was written by her mum, who mentioned that she'd "made a friend for life in John", and Nick read out Rita's letter, which was written by her mum. Nick's letter in turn was read by James and written by his son TJ, who told him he was 'proud' that he was his dad.
But Harry's letter was the one everyone was waiting for, of course written by his wife Sandra. It read, 'I have always been proud of you but the last two weeks watching you has made me realise your strength and determination to succeed at anything life throws at you. But I never thought it would mean eating fish eyes!
'You have made us all proud. We miss you terribly but I am being well looked after by everybody. The family love you and are so proud of you Love you always, PS jam roly poly is waiting!'
John's wonderful letter was read out by Anne, who revealed that she didn't mind not having a letter from home, adding that it was most probably written by her brother and that she could find out what it said from him.
However, Fleur took to the Bush Telegraph to reveal that she'd been gutted she couldn't have her letter from home, telling the camera that she hoped her family were proud of her and what she had achieved.
Viewers took to Twitter to reveal that they'd been left in floods of tears at the episode, with one writing, 'James’ letter from @KirstieBrittain was so cute I can’t deal', as another posted a gif of a child crying with the note, 'Everyone watching Harry receive his letter.'
The episode ended with former EastEnders actress Rita Simons leaving the jungle after the public vote, as she revealed to Holly Willoughby and Dec Donnelly that she was happy to be out.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
