EastEnders viewers have been left baffled after last night's episode (5th Nov) saw Hayley Slater run out of hospital with her baby. In terrifying scenes during the Halloween episode (30th Oct), Hayley was left to give birth on her own - and the soap ended with her willing her baby to take its first breath.
Thankfully, viewers breathed a sigh of relief after Hayley was taken to hospital and her baby was revived during Friday's episode (2nd Nov). However, some eagle-eyed viewers remembered that Hayley had been taken into hospital at night - so the sky was dark when she then tried to escape the hospital with her baby at the end of the show.
But when she then emerged at the hospital entrance last night, it was broad daylight - leaving many to question how big the hospital must be if it took all night for her to leave! Many took to Twitter to air their confusion.
One wrote, 'I can't stop thinking about how long it took for Hayley to leave the hospital,' as another added, 'So it took Hayley all weekend to escape the hospital. Walford General must be the size of the TARDIS if this was the case,' and another commented, 'Took Hayley the whole weekend to get out the hospital.'

But that wasn't the only gripe of EastEnders fans regarding Hayley - many also wondered aloud why Hayley wouldn't have just left the baby in hospital if she didn't want to care for her, rather than taking her only to dump her outside.
One baffled viewer wrote, 'Hayley you could have just left the baby in the hospital instead you leave her in the cold on somebody's doorstep,' and another questioned, 'Oh no Hayley! Why take your beautiful baby from the safety of a hospital, and then end up dumping her?!'
