Mission Christmas update
It's not good news I'm afraid...
As all of South Yorkshire begins their Christmas shopping, an urgent appeal has been raised by Cash for Kids, who are asking for you to support Mission Christmas by donating a gift whilst you are out and about buying gifts.
Applications for over 16,500 children have already been received and these pictures of the empty shelves at Mission Christmas HQ at Hallam FM paint an emotional story that we might not be able to help all those children who risk waking up on Christmas morning with nothing.
The good news is, time is on our side, and over 300 drop off points across South Yorkshire have signed up to collect gifts right where you live! You can type in your postcode on our interactive map which will show you where your local drop off points are where you live, near your workplace and also where you are doing your Christmas shopping.
The retailers are doing their bit by slashing their prices so it's a perfect opportunity to make that donation.
If you're not shopping this weekend you can send a text message to Mission Christmas, by texting the word HALLAM to 70808 to donate ÂŁ5. Thank you for your support.
