Mission Christmas enters its fourth week today and despite a massive 300 drop off points across South Yorkshire collecting gifts, shelves at the HQ at Hallam FM are empty and we need your help to get your collections in ahead of the December 19th deadline.

As we leave November behind Cash for Kids have so far received applications for over 16,500 children and with just a few weeks to go and potentially as many as 8,000 more applications to come in, we need you to keep talking about Mission Christmas to remind your friends, family and work colleagues to get involved.

Meanwhile, Mission Christmas sponsor, award winning estate agent Morfitt Smith, have an amazing prize up for grabs for anyone who donates gifts at any of their three branches in Sheffield. APCOA are giving Cash for Kids ÂŁ1 from every ÂŁ3.50 weekend saver rate parking ticket for those heading in to the city centre to do their shopping.

The Barnsley Chronicle have signed up as a drop off point and are encouraging schools and businesses to get involved and players from Sheffield United Football Club came to our HQ to show support.

Rotherham United Football Club fan group based at The Bridge Inn, have been running football card competitions and selling Christmas hats (in club colours!) to fans for their away days and have already raised over ÂŁ1,000.

Marlene Websters creative genius which has seen her create and sell Christmas knitted characters, has raised over ÂŁ1,000 so far and 9 year old Lillie has rallied up her entire school to help collect as many gifts in as possible..

Doncaster Racecourse kicked off their Christmas Live festive parties at the weekend, with a three course meal, cabaret show and dodgems as part of their action packed nights are displaying Cash for Kids envelopes on the tables giving guests the opportunity to donate towards Mission Christmas too.

The Cash for Kids team were outside Sheffield Town Hall at the weekend with their 'mobile drop off point' which helped continue to raise awareness to the thousands in town visiting the Christmas markets and doing their Christmas shopping.
