FIT4IT Hybrid Gym Hits Scales Great Heights for Cash for Kids

Published 2nd Sep 2014

FIT4IT Hybrid Gym in Tankersley, Barnsley has raised a staggering £1469.13 through a number of challenges.

In July, their members climbed the National Three Peaks. Walking over 26 miles and ascending 9800 feet they defeated Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. Massive thanks to everyone who took part – Liz Turner, Jo Culbert, Adam Copley, Katie Ford, Ryan Dack, Andy Glaves & Katie Figures.

After their Three Peaks challenge, the gym definitely caught the fundraising bug and took part in the On Yer Bike and Big Bake Day campaigns, as well as organising a coffee morning and Friday night social.

Charity Manager Lou says, “I am overwhelmed with the amount FIT4IT has raised. This is an incredible achievement. A big well done to all the team and gym members.”

Katie Ford, Director & Personal Trainer, says, “We have absolutely loved working with Cash for Kids at Hallam FM. They have been so supportive during our Three Peaks Challenge and other events and they have been an amazing to work with. We are looking forward to continuing working with Cash for Kids and getting involved in more of their fun Charity events!”
