Beanfest 2016
The annual Rawmarsh festival Beanfest is on its way!
Beanfest is back for 2016 and is expecting to be bigger and better than ever! The festival is rich in its short history, which has turned a tragedy into an incredibly positive community event engaging thousands of musicians and music lovers.
In January 2010 Rob ‘Bean’ Crook tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident at the young age of 23. Beloved by everyone who knew him, Rob’s friends and family rallied round to organise a musical celebration in his memory.
Each year we pull together as a group to make Bean Fest bigger and better – a tribute to a great guy we sadly lost, a celebration of music, and an opportunity to raise funds for great local causes. Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support us – we couldn’t do it without you!
Bean Fest has raised thousands over the years for local causes and this year is expected to surpass the £20,000 mark. Bean Fest will be supporting Cash for Kids amongst one of its charities this year.
