Serena Williams shares first baby picture and reveals adorable name

American tennis champion Serena Williams has shared the first picture of her newborn baby girl and revealed details about the birth.
Serena revealed to fans her daughter is called Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, the same as Serena's husband Alexis Ohanian.

Serena is believed to have gone into labour on 1st of September, right about her due date, and given birth later that day.
The tennis star revealed she was forced to spend six days in hospital following the birth. Although Serena told fans baby Alexis was born weight 6lbs 14oz, Serena didn't go into any further details about the complications.
Earlier in the month when news of Alexis' birth was revealed, many of Serena's high profile friends including Beyoncé wished her well. The 'Halo' singer wrote, 'Congratulations Serena', as she shared a photo of her.
Serena revealed her pregnancy earlier this year by mistake when she posted a photo on Snapchat with a message saying '20 weeks'. While the photo was quickly deleted it wasn't long before screenshots began to circulate on social media. The news of her pregnancy was later confirmed by one of Serena's representatives.
