Boyzone delight fans by posting throwback photos

Boyzone have delighted fans by posting some throwback photos of the group who were known for countless hits including 'Love Me For A Reason' and 'No Matter What'.

Earlier today (25th April), they posted a copy of a magazine page from 1996 which said, 'Who remembers the video for Words? We’ve taken a look back in the magazine archives and found this article from behind the scenes on the video shoot!'

The photo showed photos of the group looking very young, with the headline 'The word is out!'

Shortly after posting this photo fans took to Instagram to leave comments. One fan said, 'Really love this song...ever!!!', sic whilst another said, 'I was so amazed with the video. Because there were so much rain 😍😍😍'. sic

Even more fans reminisced about the music video saying, 'Yeah definitely I can’t forget this video xxxxx' and 'awwwwww the memories @boyzoneofficial'.

Some fans also asked the group to announce some UK tour dates.

Earlier this week Boyzone's official Instagram account also posted a copy of the artwork for 'All That I Need' saying, 'All That I Need’ is 20 years old! The single was released on 20th April 1998 and went on to be a number 1 single! Can anyone remember what the b-sides to the single were? #bz25 #boyzone #allthatineed #wherewebelong'.

As expected the comments were full of fans remembering the song and the group. One fan said, 'I love all the boyzone songs..so sweet..i love you ronan..miss steo..' sic whilst another said, 'The best single'.

Meanwhile, over on their official Facebook page Boyzone have launched Fan Friday where they asked their fans for their favourite Boyzone song, and the reason why it's their favourite.

Boyzone shot to fame with their single 'Love Me For A Reason' back in 1994. Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch then went on to have a number of top 10 hits in the UK as well as several number 1 albums.

Sadly back in 2009 Stephen Gately passed away at the age of 33 from an undiagnosed heart condition, at his home in Majorca. In 2016 Ronan Keating paid tribute to his former group mate on Instagram saying, 'Hey Steo. "A true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart." -- Zeus (Disney's Hercules) #ShootingStar. Miss ya Bro'.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the group and they have recently confirmed they will be releasing some new music.
