Woman dies after emergency response off Gower Coast
She was airlifted to hospital but sadly later died
A woman has died in hospital, after being pulled from the water off the Gower coast.
She was airlifted from Langland Bay to hospital in a critical condition, but sadly later died.
In a statement, South Wales Police said: 'At around 11.47am this morning, October 27, South Wales Police was called to reports of a body found in the water near Langland Bay, Newton, Swansea.
'Emergency services attended and recovered a woman in a critical condition, she was air lifted to hospital, where she was declared deceased.
'Enquiries are ongoing and the next of kin are being informed of developments.'
