There's a warning that parts of Western Wales are "likely" to see flooding of a few homes and businesses this week.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain, throughout Thursday and Friday (28th and 29th October).

Forecasters say 40-60mm of rain is expected within the warning area, with 100-120mm over higher ground.

What to expect

The Met Office warns:

  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
  • Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely

Experts have issued advice on travelling in bad weather, as well as protecting homes from flooding.
