BOTH major crossings between England and Wales are CLOSED due to high winds

Its thought to be the first time both routes into and out of Wales have been closed.

Wind speeds from Storm Eunice mean both the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge and M48 Severn Bridge are closed to all traffic .

Drivers are being urged to stay away.

No trains will operate in Wales for the entire day.

That means Great Western Railway services from London Paddington are terminating at Bristol Parkway instead of continuing to Swansea.

We've been getting updates throughout the day of roads being shut by fallen trees and high-sided vehicles being blown over.

The advice remains to only travel if its essential.
