There's a warning that Storm Barra could lead to flooding around the Welsh Coast, thanks to high winds.

A weather warning is in place across much of the country until 6pm tomorrow (Wednesday 8th December) for high winds.

The Met Office says delays to rail, road, air and ferry travel are expected, as well as short term power outages.

The Met Office weather warning for wind is in place from 00:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday 8th December

Gusts of 69mph have been recorded at Aberdaron, on the western tip of the Llyn Peninsula in Wales.

Forecasters do say it is unlikely that Barra will have as much of an impact as its predecessor, Arwen.

Eleven flood warnings have been issued around the coast of Wales by Natural Resources Wales, meaning "immediate action required."

At 6pm on 7th December seven "be prepared" flood alerts were also in place.

Other disruption is also being reported, including in travel.
